Summer fruit and summer colors make a beautiful, delicious and refreshing sangria. We used both Rainier and Dark Sweet Cherries and added Elderflower liqueur to caption the taste of summer.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of orange liqueur (we used Gran Gala liqueur)*

  • 1/2 cup of Elderflower liqueur

  • One 1.5L bottle of white wine (we used Pinot Grigio)

  • One cup of Rainier and Dark Sweet Cherries, pitted

  • 2 Peaches, cut into quartered slices

  • 1 large orange, cut into orange slices

  • 5-7 leaves of fresh lemon balm or mint

Directions

  • Add the cut fruit to the bottom of a medium size pitcher.
  • Pour in orange liqueur and elderflower liqueur. Add bottle of white wine.
  • Stir gently and chill for 1 to 2 hours to allow the fruit to infuse.
  • Pour into ice filled glasses. Top with lemon balm or mint.

Tips

  • 1. *You can substitute Grans gala with triple sec for a sweeter flavor.
  • 2. If desired, add a flavored sparkling water. Try Polar sparkling water-Dark Cherry flavor.
