These chocolate apple pops are an easy and fun treat for fall parties or a great idea for trick or treaters. You can add any kind of toppings to create delicious combinations. Anything goes!

Ingredients

  • 3 large apples ( we used granny smith apples)

  • 10 ounces of melting chocolate (we used dark chocolate ghirardelli melting wafers)

  • 1/4 cup of nonpareil sprinkles (we used black and orange)

  • 18 lollipop sticks

Directions

  • Core apples and cut into wedges (6 per apple). Place a stick into each apple.
  • In a 2 cup glass measuring cup, melt chocolate in microwave on 50% power for 2-3 minutes total, stirring every 30 seconds. This is important so you don’t burn the chocolate.
  • Holding the stick, dip each apple into chocolate until covered. Tap gently to remove excess chocolate
  • While holding apples over a plate, sprinkle with nonpareils. Place apple in styrofoam block or on a tray lined with parchment paper for approximately 10 minutes or until chocolate has hardened.
