minutesThis super green smoothie is also super yummy and packed with superfoods. It’s a perfect start to your day or a mid-afternoon snack. There are so many optional ingredients to add to a smoothie and fun for the family to create together.
Ingredients
1/2 cup of green apples, cut into large chunks
1 1/2 cups of frozen mango
1/2 cup of avocado (we used wegmans frozen diced avocado)
2 ripe bananas, cut into large chunks
1/2 kiwi
2 cups of chopped kale
2 cups of almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 cup of ice
Directions
- In a large blender add all fruits, vegetables, milk and ice. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes. Add more liquid if too thick, or add more ice of too liquidy.

- 1. Smoothie can also be enjoyed as a smoothie bowl, served with your favorite toppings.
- 2. You can also add a scoop of your favorite protein powder in order to boost the protein. Or add a tablespoon of flaxseed meal or chia seeds for extra minerals and fiber.
