This old scool recipe is so good and so so simple. It’s a timeless sunday dinner idea but can also be used to create meals and it’s perfect to serve at your superbowl party!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb. boneless rump roast

  • 2 Tbsp. of olive oil

  • 1 tsp. of garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. onion powder

  • 1 tsp. of dried thyme

  • 1 tsp. of kosher salt and ground pepper

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • Allow roast to come to room temperature (about 1 hour). Rub with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, salt and pepper.
  • Roast in oven for 3-4 hours or until internal temperature reaches 135 degrees (medium rare).
  • Remove, from oven and let sit for at least 30 minutes before carving.
